About the Owners

The Oakbank Hotel is owned by 3 jovial, friendly blokes; Matt, Clint and Mike.

Matt and Clint are formerly from The Williamstown Hotel, while both Mike and Clint will be well known to anyone who has frequented The Woolshed on Hindley.

Together, their passion for good times and good pub grub has transformed The Oakbank Hotel into one of the liveliest pubs in The Hills.

About The Oakbank Racing Carnival

Oakbank’s Easter Racing Carnival at the Oakbank Racing Club began during the 1860’s, and is a firm favorite with all South Australians.

The Oakbank Carnival is like no other in the world. It rivals the Melbourne Cup in size and colour. Its 70,000 strong crowd annually on Easter Monday make it the biggest Picnic Race Meeting on Earth. Easter Saturday attracts a crowd of approximately 45,000 and sets the scene for a fantastic carnival.
