The Oakbank Hotel is located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills in - you’ve guessed it – the historic village of Oakbank, the home town of South Australia’s famous Easter Racing Carnival.

A country pub, with a relaxed laid-back country soul, the Oakbank is a popular watering-hole for both the local community and tourists alike.

The front bar is a favourite with the locals, having a roaring log-fire during winter, ample seating and standing space, plenty of sporting memorabilia and screens showing a variety of sports and racing.

The light-filled, spacious restaurant is located in the rear atrium overlooking the beautiful beer garden. Open for lunch and dinner every day, the generous a la carte menu, designed by chef Ben Westdorp, sources ingredients from regional produce – especially country meats and seasonal vegetables.

Keen to promote local wineries, the Oakbank stocks and cellars a large range of Adelaide Hills wines, many from hard to obtain vintages.

In the warmer weather the cheer spills outside into the beer garden and under the tables shaded by willow trees.
